Register for Monthly Behavior Management Webinar Series

The next webinar in our series is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 at 1:30 pm CST. There is no cost for this online event. Each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance from Insights to Behavior.

Speaker: Roland Espericueta, M. Ed.
Topic: Early Detection and Prevention through Behavioral Universal Screening

Behavior has a significant impact on student and school positive academic outcomes.  It's vital that educators take a proactive versus reactive approach to behavior in order to identify students that require additional behavior supports in order to be successful in school.  Schools can't afford to wait for parents or teachers to report a student's behavior problems after a significant amount of time. Universal Screening for Behavior can help identify students that may be at an elevated risk for severe behavior, academic concerns, dropping out of school, and other risk factors. It can assist in pinpointing student needs early on, as well as providing data on prevalent school-wide behaviors.

Roland Espericueta has over 20 years of experience in Special Education and Educational Administration. He taught in Special Education in the San Antonio ISD and the Northside ISD (San Antonio, TX), where he also served as a Campus Administrator and Special Education Administrator. He supervised special education programs and specialists, monitored compliance with special education regulations, and organized district professional development in the area of behavior. Roland continues to be an advocate for students with learning and behavioral difficulties.

Join us on March 18th at 1:30 pm CST for Early Detection and Prevention through Behavioral Universal Screening Webinar.
