Andrea Banks, M.Ed.
Behavior Consultant

Andrea Banks received his Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of North Texas. He currently works as an independent Behavioral Consultant. Prior to this, Andrea worked with educational software companies, where he assisted in developing behavior improvement products for the classroom. In addition, he spent twenty-one years working in the Dallas Independent School District, where he served as a classroom teacher, a behavior specialist, and as the program director for students with emotional disabilities.

Over the past 20 years, he has presented at several national and international conferences on topics such as Managing Students with Challenging Behaviors, PBIS, School Improvement, and SEL and MTSS Processes. He has also worked with local colleges and universities' Teacher-Prep Programs, delivering workshops and training for the classroom challenges of the 21st century.

Marty Newport is a former early childhood teacher, author, and Insights to Behavior Guru. She was introduced to ITB four years ago when she desperately needed new strategies for one of her students. The value of ITB was evident to her so much that she quit teaching and has been training educators on how to use the program ever since. Her love for fun shines through her training, her children’s books, and her smile. She has earned the name “Party Marty” because of her knack for playing games.
